Guilford For All
Keep Gate City Housed
Federation members and partners have been working towards housing justice.
What we’ve won so far:
- $1.91 million to keep people in their homes
- $440,000 for eviction defense legal resources
- $1.47 million for emergency rental assistance
This campaign has already mobilized nearly 1,000 residents, recruited new members, and drew widespread media attention—proving that organized communities can curb displacement and demand accountability.
Durham For All
Campaign for Guaranteed Income
Durham Federation members are working to secure guaranteed income as a permanent city budget priority.
What we’ve won so far:
- Guaranteed income secured as an ongoing budget item
- Federation members appointed to the city’s Guaranteed Income Steering Committee
By centering worker voices and lived experience, this campaign is shaping policy and power.
Forsyth Freedom Federation
A Trust for All of Us
This campaign successfully pushed affordable housing into the center of public debate.
What we’ve won so far:
- A serious City Council proposal for an Affordable Housing Trust Fund
- Federation members seated on the Winston-Salem Housing Advisory Committee
With growing engagement and new leadership emerging, this chapter is laying the critical groundwork for future wins.
New Hanover For All
Fund Our Future
Especially in the face of mass layoffs in schools, we win big. Federation members have been organizing hard for education justice.
What we’ve won so far:
- $9.5 million to protect public education
- Prevented cuts to nurses, counselors, and social workers
- Funding guaranteed for 10 of 12 pre-K programs
This campaign has safeguarded critical services for students and families while building a stronger, more connected base of community leaders.
